Второй международный музыкальный фестиваль «Дым над водой. От классики до рока»
Classics and rock will meet at the zenith of summer on the ski slopes on the shore of the Red Lake: the Tavrichesky Symphony Orchestra of the Leningrad Region and the Portuguese rock band Blind Zero, the Petersburg musical hero Ivan Ozhogin and the participants of the Voice show. The artistic director of the festival is Mikhail Golikov.
The audience will find a lot of great music - from an academic school to a drive of rock culture. And all this against the backdrop of a picturesque lake and pine forest. At the Festival you can hear the most unexpected musical combinations: the hit “Changes” by V. Tsoi on the motive of S. Prokofiev’s ballet. Or the Russian folk “Oh, frost, frost”, smoothly transitioning to the game of thrones soundtrack. As well as crossover versions of world hits Metallica, Scorpions, Queen and, of course, Deep Purple.
By the way, the name was given to the festival with the personal approval of the authors of the rock hit “Smoke on the water”. The idea of the festival was supported by Iain Pace and Joe Lynn Turner.
Three scenes will work on the territory of the Festival for two days. The main scene, on the shores of Red Lake, in the natural amphitheater of the Korobitsyno valley, above the water surface. Small stage on the top of the slope for workshops and “People’s karaoke”. And the third is a children's scene on the territory of the Golden Valley ski center. The music has no boundaries, as well as no age or other restrictions for visitors to the Festival. Admission to all events is free!
Festival guests will be able to relax in the purest corner of nature, but with comfort. Korobitsyno’s infrastructure allows you to receive several tens of thousands of spectators and participants. Those who wish can be accommodated in the cottages of the ski resorts “Krasnoe Ozero”, “Snezhniy” and “Zolotaya Dolina” and in nearby hotel complexes. On the territory of the Festival there will be cafes and restaurants for every taste.
The festival is supported by the Government of the Leningrad Region, the Committee on Culture of the Leningrad Region and the Roscongress Foundation.
